Review: ‘Starship Commander: Arcade’ did look as if it was going to be one of the better space shooters out there, but sadly it seems my presumption of that was wrong. In short, it is a budget version of ‘ EVE: Valkyrie’ only with nowhere nearly the level of polish and game-modes that game offers or in fact any of the playability that game offers. But I am being a tad harsh as there are times when the game looks good, especially when the battle gets heated, but it is little more a 13-minute cinematic experience rather than a game of any sorts. Asking £5.79 for this is not going to wash with most people and it really should have been free. I didn’t mind it at all, but I was expecting so much more from this game.
