Review: Stars is an educational app about…well…the stars! Featuring some 3D maps and renders and some nice narration this app is for people who have at least some interest in the stars (obviously). While this is an OK app it is the asking price that really doesn’t sell it. For £10.99 you really don’t get a lot and while what there is looks good, there isn’t enough educational or exploratory content here to justify that price. Sadly there are many apps that do a much better job (like The Lab) and they are free making this one kind of redundant. Maybe a classroom will enjoy seeing this, but even then I would wait for it to be in a sale.
