Review: Do you believe in the power of dragons? Even if you don’t, playing ten minutes of this will have you fearing dragons forever. You take control of 2 of the most dangerous space dragons I have ever come across, one purple and one is blue. They can fly across space within the blink of an eye and plasma shooting breath that can destroy space ships, space stations and even destroy whole planets which is handy because the goal of the game is to destroy all the planets in each solar system.
It did take me a while to work out how to play the game, but as soon as I had my dragons under control they were a joy to work with. I am not really sure what is going on in this game, but it seems to be some sort of actions space shooter where you have to take down space stations and space ships that power a planet’s shields, then once they are down you can then destroy the planet. Why? Who cares! It’s a fun space shooter and there are space dragons in it, what more do you need to know?
Space Dragon is a joy to play and at first, I was really getting into it with its amazing neon dragons that are well detailed. But sadly the high level of graphical detail starts and ends with the dragons. All the rest of the game including the planet explosions is not that great. Also, it did get a little repetitive quicker than I would have liked, but the developer has put some variety in action through the wormholes which are nice. I like this game I really do, but it is best to wait until it is half its current price, only then would you feel like you have value for money from it.
