Review: Let’s face it. Myself and indeed any fan of the original 1999 Dreamcast game was always going to be disappointed by this. But yet, as a hard-core fan of the original this still has all the right things to give me a nostalgic trip worth owning. You play the role of the news reporting heroine Ulala and join her on her battle with evil space monsters, all through the power of dance. The good news is the art style and indeed the graphics are true to the original game and I instantly flat at home playing it. It’s also amazing fun to play, if a little simple when compared to other VR dancing games these days.
Sadly this game is so short it hurts itself. In fact, you can see all this game has to offer in less than an hour if you don’t want to do the other challenges and difficulty levels. £19.49 is asking a lot for this, but I can’t help it, I love it and felt it was well worth getting, but I can see people who have not even heard of the original feeling ripped off by this and maybe not understanding it at all.
