Description: The galaxy needs you! Transport yourself into a retro-inspired, VR space-fight adventure! Space Bit Attack lets you be the hero as a gunner pilot saving the galaxy from an evil alien invasion. Duck, dive, and dodge your way through level after level, blasting holes in the enemy defenses as you go.
Space Bit Attack is an entirely new and captivating take on a retro arcade classic that gives you the space pilot experience you’ve always wanted from the cabinet games of yesteryear. Each level of this virtual world features a swarm of aliens poised to attack. Navigate through the galaxy in a fighter ship fully equipped with the best laser guns available and destroy their forces one enemy at a time. As you progress, you’ll unlock features and abilities that give you the power to battle more challenging opponents. Those aliens won’t know what hit them!
Review: From the moment this game starts there is a nod towards an old style coin arcade surrounded by other arcade classics, you know even from this opening sequence that this is going to be a retro feast for the eyes. And that is exactly what this game is. While not an official Space Invaders game it is essentially Space Indavers VR. The controls are arcade simple and retro, but the look and feel of the game are all updated and looking beautiful. As you start getting into the levels you soon realise that they are getting harder and harder, but at least, the learning curve is a steady pace.
This is not just a fun game, it is a retro trip to nostalgia world (provided you are old enough to remember the original Space Invaders games). For people new to the Space invaders style of game (IE: Younger) you will still find it fun, just not as much fun as someone who is a fan of it. For its price you just can’t go wrong! Download it and start living the Pixels Movie in VR!
