Review: While a little rough around the edges I found ‘Snailiens’ to be way more fun than I thought it was going to be (after all, it sounds like a B-movie and looks like one as well), Its a mix of genres, but it is mostly an action game with strategic elements added to it. In short, you need to stop waves of different types of snails from killing you. Some are slow and small and others are big and fast, there is a good variety of snails that of course get more and more challenging as you get further into the game. The good news is there is enough content here to justify the asking price, but I did find the controls to be a little crappy and it took me a good 30 mins to get used to them and start getting into the game. While not flawless Snailiens is well worth a look if you fancy something different.
