Review: Smashing the Battle on the Gear VR is pretty much the same as the Oculus Rift version. With deep, colourful 3D graphics that make it look like there are real action figures in front of you and all played with the Gamepad to give it that extra bit of arcade feel it really is one of the best-looking action platformers you will see on the Gear VR. But there are a few gripes, like the price being a little too high. I would have prefered to see this game around the £5 mark so waiting for a sale is highly recommended. Also the lack of diversity in level theme is a bit of a killer. If you like Hack and Slash games you will love this, but if you are not sure about it, its best to wait till the price drops.
