Review: ‘Slotracers VR’ is pretty much what its title suggests, it is a slot-car/Scalextrics game in which you get to race one of 10 slot-cars on any of the 27 tracks. Done in a standing position, it really does look like a low-poly toy car set right in front of you. As a bonus, you can also make your own tracks and mini-environments which does open the game up to a world of possibilities. With both single-player and multiplayer modes, the game does have a lot of potential, but I feel it lacks quality and content to be worth the rather steep £19.49 asking price. I got this in a sale for just £17.54 and I still felt out of pocket. Hopefully, there will be a community of players making tracks for this that can be shared in the future but for now it’s overpriced and a little unpolished for my liking.
