Review: Do you enjoy watch eSports? If you do SLIVER.tv have come up with a rather crazy way to enjoy watch it. They give you the best seat in the house by literally placing you inside the action for you to watch. Games like Counter-Strike, League of Legends and even Minecraft! All in full 360° video. At first, it seems kind of weird, but the more you get into the action of the game the more enjoyable it becomes. Getting a chance to watch some of the top players in the world play at some of the major tournament matches is something every eSports fan dreams of. Travelling all over the world is not easy (or cheap) so this is a great way to experience your favourite players and teams.
We have pretty fast internet here in the VR shop office, but all we could get was 1080P streaming. While that was good enough to watch it wasn’t the highest resolution possible. It is not the most stable of stream either, but at the end of the day what they are doing to compile that steam would have seemed impossible just a few years ago. This could well be the future of online eSports viewing and that is no bad thing at all.
