Description: Skybox Painter 3D is a painting editor to draw your own customizable Skyboxes with, which can be used for the creation of videogames and other 360 degree environments. The output of the program are panoramic or 6 sided cubemap textures for skyboxes to use with any engine or skybox shader.
Review: If you have some use for a 360 photo of a sky background you might find ‘Skybox Painter 3D’ useful. Its a cloud creation program of sorts and you can make 360 photos for use in whatever you need. While I did get along alright with it I just can’t see how this might be worth even a fraction of the £7.19 asking price. It is far too basic to get really creative, but too complex for total beginners. There are many great programs in which you can make a cloud scene and a lot of them are free. I would try those before this one any time of the day, even if this one was free.
