Description: Inspired by Homere’s Odyssey, Siren Song is a short VR cinematic experience that tries to recreate the magic of Ulysse’s adventure with the sirens. Created by French composer and director Denis Volte, the original music was written for a full orchestra and female choirs. Each siren being spatialized, the immersive effect created by music is absolutely unique, until the tragic end…

Review: Some hate them, some like them (personally I do enjoy them), I am talking about VR cinematic experiences and Siren Song is exactly that. Created by French composer who also made La bataille d’Angleterre, Wild Africa Chronicle, Un deux trois quatre and Hechki to name but a few examples of his other work. This VR title is about Sirens. For those who don’t know Sirens are Greek mythology creatures who lured nearby sailors with their enchanting music and voices to shipwreck on the rocky coast of their island.

In this experience there is no interaction, you just need to sit back and experience what it might have looked like from the eyes of a sailor. Let’s just say it doesn’t end well.
