Description: As a soul transitioning into the afterlife, Senza Peso shepherds you on a spiritual journey through a beautiful and foreboding dark world of lost souls and redemption. In this VR adaptation of the short film mini-opera by Cory Strassburger & Alain Vasquez, you become the protagonist and personally experience the metamorphosis from death to eternity. This is an enhanced re-release of the highly regarded 2014 VR experience that has been a go-to showpiece for many in the VR community.
The chances are good that you might only watch this once (watch it on high spec if you can, you’ll appreciate the visual elements even more) but once will be enough to have seen something truly unique to the world of VR. Once again it never ceases to amaze me the different things people use VR and the weird and wonderful content they create. Opera is not something I never thought I would experience in VR, but yet Senza Peso has shown me the possibilities that opera brings to a virtual world. You don’t have to enjoy opera or have ever been to one to appreciate this app, as it is a beautiful VR experience that is well worth a look if you like opera or not.
