Review: While I have never been fishing in real life I do often find myself enjoying a good VR fishing game. It’s both relaxing and exciting and in VR feels pretty great to play. First playing ‘Sea Fishing Simulator’ I was looking forward to my first fish on a hook and things started OK, sure, it doesn’t work with our motion controllers but the gamepad was giving it a more arcade feel which I guess this game is. Then, as I got close to pulling my very first fish out of the water…nothing. Yes, you never get to see your fish come out of the water, just a picture of it when that has already happened. £7.99 for this is a joke, if it had been free I might have recommended it with caution, but with any price point, this game is best avoided as it really is fish-free.
