Description: New Austin was more than a refuge from the wastelands of a world ravaged by wars, disasters, and disease. It was the perfect city, a Scraper megacity, with residential complexes that housed millions, food-production towers that extended above the clouds, and robots that served to fulfill every need. But after the world’s most advanced AI witnessed an act of human aggression that endangered every life on Earth, he decided to take care of humanity . . . permanently.
Review: While Scraper: First Strike is far from perfect there is still somethings to enjoy about it. I liked the fast action and at times some of the storyline that keeps things interesting. I also liked how long it took me to finish the game at just over 6 hours for the first playthrough and 2 difficulty settings to choose from I do think there is enough content to justify the asking price. But what I hate about this game is the bland graphics and simply terrible voice acting. It just makes the whole game a tough slog through. While it isn’t that bad I suppose it isn’t that great and makes me sadly recommend you wait for a good sale before giving it a go. But get this game for the right price and you might enjoy it a little more than I did having paid full-price.
