Presentation: The box experience of the Samsung Odyssey is very much Apple-inspired with a clean white box with an inner top layer reading “Odyssey: The journey starts here”. But once past that point, there really isn’t a lot to say. The headset and controllers nests in a plastic tray, but it was all bagged up in foam packaging which was nice as it kept it clean and dust-free. While nothing special it should arrive in most peoples homes damage free.

Review: If you want visual quality this is the headset to choose from. With its truly gorgeous screens, it looks even better than the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive and Vive pro! Add to that there are deals on this headset with controllers running down at $350 which is cheaper than its main competitors! If you planned on getting a Windows Mixed Reality Headset anyway this is the one to pick. But if you already have a Windows Mixed Reality Headset or a Rift or Vive this isn’t worth the upgrade if you ask me.
