Presentation: To be honest with you the final versions of these headsets really didn’t have anything extra in terms of unboxing. Sure, it now came with a Bluetooth controller of sorts and the box was now black with much higher quality fonts on the outer box. But once past this, it was the same plastic holder it always was with everything else slotted into the back of it. Given the cheapness of the headset, it is still nicely presented, but it is certainly nothing special.

Review: Often named the SM-R325 model this was the updated, black version of this headset, but the unboxing experience was pretty much the same only this time it came with a Bluetooth 3 DoF controller which made it much better for immersion and turned this headset into what the Oculus Go would become. While support didn’t last for too much longer this was to be the final version of the Gear VR and it was pretty great at the time and made all other mobile VR headsets look pretty crap. If you go for any version of the Gear VR headsets, always go for this one. The FOV was better, it was comfortable to wear and super easy to use.
