Review: Runes: The Forgotten Path sees you playing the role of a powerful sorcerer who seems to have lost their memory, so this game is a journey of self-discovery as well as actual discovery. When it comes to gameplay this game really is a mixed bag of things from a puzzle room to magic throwing action, to a large dose of adventure, this game has it all. Overall it isn’t a terrible game at all and it does last about 2 1/2 hours, but I do wish there was more adventuring than the action bits as they tended to be the lamest parts of the game. For a freebie, this is well worth a look and could well be the best thing you will download for free from the Steam store.
