Review: I have to give credit for RollerForce being one of the first rollercoaster shooter games in VR and to be fair to this game it’s not that bad at all (its not great neither). Put short you ride the virtual coaster and try and shoot things at the same time and while it mostly works I felt the ride as moving too fast to be able to lock onto the targets and you have to predict where they will be ahead of your shot. I’m not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but either way, it infuriated me.
So is this game worth the £3.99 asking price? …I think not. But grab this in a sale and you might not feel so bad about it as it is a laugh, just one that is a little overpriced. Sure, there are better games that are similar in style, but this was the first and deserves some of the credit.
