Review: Having played Rock Band VR to death when it first come out I was looking forward to playing ‘Rocking Legend’ which for all tense and purposes is the same game. While I wasn’t disappointed with this game I wasn’t as happy as I could be paying the full £19.49 price tag. It sure looks good and if you can learn to get on of the controls you can soon find yourself easily immersed and it even works with the original Rock Band VR guitar! Sadly having tried other play methods including the finger tracking I did find them a little off.
This game does tick a lot of good boxes for me, but with just 10 songs you can see all this game has to offer in less than a single hour and sure, you could argue there is a lot of replay value with the different guitar models, but that’s not going to wash with me. I expect more and even a little bit more polish when it comes to the controls. If you have a PC controller guitar this is well worth getting, but waiting for a sale is highly advised.
