Description: The rhythm of the universe has been thrown off by a mysterious force. Portals are appearing all over the land, letting frustratingly cute creatures from other dimensions into our world. After many millennia of rest, you must aid Alfred and take up the mantle of Rhythm Mage to restore the rhythm of the universe.
Review: While I do have to give kudos to the developers for trying to refresh an otherwise dried up genre ‘Rhythm Mage VR’ sadly fails in all the usual departments. It looks good I suppose with some great particle effects and cartoon graphics, but when it comes to the music and gameplay the game lets itself down. The biggest issue is the same thing we have seen time and time again, the music and onscreen action bare no resemblance to each other, making the gameplay feel empty and pointless, but the music choice on offer isn’t great neither, leading to a game I can’t really recommend at the moment. But the developers might be worth keeping an eye on, but this game not so much.
