Review: Put simply, there is almost zero point of Rez Infinite being in VR and I can spend all day picking holes in Rez Infinite’s use of it but playing the game, being inside the crazy psychedelic graphics of Rez’s worlds is so deeply immersive that hours fly past in what feels like moments, you don’t just play it, you get addicted to it! Sure, I am and always will be a Dreamcast fanboy, but I don’t hold this game so high because of its heritage, I hold it up as a great game because of its playability. Could it be better? Yes, but that doesn’t stop me from playing it so much I get blisters on my thumbs. Truly a classic game, even it’s not the best use of VR. Just do wait for a really good sale to make sure you get your money’s worth, but personally I was happy paying full-price for it, but I do think it was short for the money.
