Review: Playing this game is like a nod towards classic console games. You simply look around the screen and lock-on to up to eight targets, then release the ‘X’ button to shoot them.to shoot them. OK, so it is not all that easy at all as the enemies will be moving and you will have to avoid other things at the same time as well as constantly being bombarded with neon visuals and crazy deep sounds. There are also upgrades and powerups to keep things fresh.
While the VR element does make the game look more enjoyable, the fast paced movement and action will make most people reach for the sick bucket in not time at all. It is also a game that you will get bored of quickly due to the repetitive nature of the gameplay. But having said all that Rez Infinite is still one of the best VR games you can play that wasn’t specially made for VR, provided you can handle the VR sickness you will enjoy this immensely. If you are new to VR give this a miss. but if you are already VR hardened you will find this just as exciting as Eve: Valkyrie.
