Description: RESONARK X is an unprecedented rhythm game that offers a different way to play on the desktop and in VR. In desktop mode, players use 7 lanes + alpha and corresponding keyboard keys. In VR mode, you use a two-handed hand controller to clap your hands and manipulate six strings as you play.
Review: Sadly I do feel that ‘RESONARK X’ is just an average music/rhythm game and nothing else. But I do feel the game is missing a trick most modern VR headsets can do and that is hand tracking. You see, the game involves some virtual hand-clapping done with the motion controllers, but you can’t clap with motion controllers, so the clapping sections end up feeling a little pointless. The gameplay itself is OK and the beat mapping is mostly on point making it feel fun to play. Sadly the lack of songs and indeed game modes means the game is quite shallow given the crazy £10.29 asking price. So do try and grab this in the best sale possible as anything more than a few quid for this will see you feeling short-changed.
