Description: A man knocked out on a crime scene, a grandmother with a blurry memory, a young man suffering from a hangover. Play as nine different members of a family and help them uncover the unexpected history that links each protagonist. Recover their memories by exploring the immersive, hand-drawn environments. From engraving to paper cut including painting and colour pencils, Recall is a unique narrative experience in VR.
Sadly it is far from being as good as SharpSense’s previous title. From the quiet voice and loud music being rather annoying, from the “tip radar” system not working very well or the lack of content given its mid-range price point, it’s just nowhere near as good as many other free narrative experiences out there. If you like this sort of ‘experience’ maybe you will enjoy the storyline and get immersed in it for a while. But its such a short while you will soon be feeling like you didn’t get your money’s worth. A strange one for sure, but something a little different that is always welcomed.
