Review: While ‘Ragnarock’ is not exactly original it is something that on paper sounds like a fun game to play. It’s an action/Music and Rhythm game in which your successful hitting of the beats on the drums in front of you means you will do better in the battle, especially when playing in the multiplayer mode. With hard rock and metal music aplenty here rock fans should have their heads nodding from start to finish. Sadly when it comes to gameplay I found the beat mapping was a little hit & miss. There were times it was great fun and other times it seemed as if the beats and the music were two separate things. Overall I like the game, even if it does lack a little polish (especially with regards the gameplay). However, I really don’t think it will ever be worth the current £15.49 asking price. Even half that price is pushing the value for money side of things. So do try and grab it on the cheap, or when it is finally out of early access.
