While the speeds this game moves at look ridiculous, you strangely always feel in control. You soon learn the tracks and learn where the other racers are going to go. Throw the multiplayer game on top of all this and you have a game that feels very polished indeed. Maybe a few more tracks and ships would have improved it, but those sorts of things can always be added later on with an Add-on.
I do have to wonder if this game has ruined my life forever?!? You see, now I have played this, space racers will never be the same again. Normal 2D screen racing feels slow and lacking in excitement now. From now on, I only want to race in VR, so is that such a good thing? This is one of those games worth buying a VR headset for. Pop in some headphones, sit in a comfortable chair and you will swear you could almost feel the gravity rise and fall as the track goes on.
