Mr. President has given you full authority in this matter; you are to kill anything that moves. Good luck, Murderman. Your country depends on you.
Spread terror among the Ratfox Army. Lay waste to the Drone Queen’s Brood, and disrupt the dark rituals of the Ancient Triple Trunked Necro Order. Wreak havoc on the Double-Trunked Elephant population, cook the Necro Beefcakes and waste Space Slugs by shooting them off your face.
Live up to your name, Murderman, and quell your enemies with an arsenal of six unique weapons. Face off against three intricate bosses with unique mechanics, strengths and weaknesses. Prepare yourself for intense firefights in proper bullet hell fashion where you have to keep moving and firing to stay alive. Just like in the good old days!
Review: Knowing the age of ‘Quell 4D’ is what will help you understand why it has so many positive reviews. When this game was released it was one of the very first FPS games to have full motion rather than a teleport or waypoint system. This game is essentially Doom only in VR with super-cute characters and to be fair to the game it kind of works! It looks nice, it a little cutesy, the guns feel good and the AI isn’t too easy giving you at least a bit of a challenge.
But sadly for this game time has moved on and suddenly paying £14.99 for this seems unreasonable. Wait for it in a sale, or get it as part of a bundle and you might enjoy it, but pay full price and you will be wishing you had spent your money on something else. Not a bad game I suppose, just a little over-priced.
