Description: You awake gradually. You are in a dark cell. You are drifting in and out of consciousness between bouts of violent hallucinations. You are physically weak and have no memory of who you are or why you are here. You are scared, very scared. The voices in your head tell you that you should be and you have a feeling, a very bad feeling that you are not alone.
Review: Purgation is your typical dark horror game with a few good jump scares thrown in for good measure. It isn’t going to win any game design awards and it won’t hold your interest for very long. But it will make you jump, it will make you happy that you downloaded it and it is perfect for any Halloween party. But if you want a deeply immersive horror game you need to look elsewhere. This game does what it needs to do and very little else.
