Review: Even after all these years of release Protonwar doesn’t quite feel like a finished game and lacks a touch of polish here and there. But it is still one of the very best multiplayer shooters there is. Sadly the player bae is pretty much zero these days which does leave you with the single-player mode only and while it is fun, it just isn’t the same has nowhere near enough content on its own to justify the £7.19 asking price. Yes it looks good, yes the action feels amazing, but this game is all about that multiplayer so once that died this game doesn’t have a lot. Grab it for a few quid and you will enjoy it, but try and make some friends get it as well.
