Description: PowerBeatsVR is an intense rhythm-based VR fitness game, where you box, dodge, and squat to the energetic beat of the music. You have handmade challenges with leaderboards, an auto-generator for your own music, a level editor, multiple weapons, calorie tracking, and heart rate monitor support.
Review: ‘PowerBeatsVR’ is a workout style music/rhythm game in which you will be dodging mines, ducking under doorways and punching meteorites out of the way like they are nothing. The game reminds me a lot of Synth Riders, only this game has a lot more variation in the environments you get to play in which does mix things up a bit. Graphically the game is a little basic, but when things are flying towards you it doesn’t really matter how good the environment looks. If you ramp up the difficulty you will get a damn good workout and most probably dislocate something. The good news is the beats seem to match the music (most of the time) making it good fun to play. I am not sure it is worth the current £15.49 asking price, but I would pay half of that at least. Yeah it’s a little overpriced, but it is also well worth playing.
