Details: This is going to get a little strange but do bear with it. This augmented reality headset is the “eyes” of a Polymelia suit. Called the PolyEyes 2.0 (what happened to 1.0?) is looks like a hammerhead shark of sorts. You use PolyEyes (aka Hammerhead Vision System) through the Raspberry Pi Compute Module and you communicate with other entities (people) in another room, whom you cannot see because they are in front of you. Imagine a dating website for hammerhead sharks and you are half-way there. Relying solely on the Exo-skeletal Suit Controller, you have to decide whether to share or receive stimuli.

Our Thoughts: If this all sounds crazy, that is because it is. But there is something intriguing about it. Could this be the ultimate online dating headset!? Where you have to fall in love with your feelings and responses rather than your other senses! Sure it looks crazy, but the idea behind it is rather sweet. Just don’t expect it to be in the shops anytime soon.
