Description: Imagine you are the captain of a space station. A space station suddenly presented with a humanitarian crisis. When given the choice, who will you save? Playing God is an interactive VR thought experiment that lets you imagine you are the captain of a space station, suddenly presented with a humanitarian crisis. It challenges its audience with a series of scenarios and questions based upon the narrative allowing the audience to explore how they would deal with a humanitarian crisis themselves.
Review: ‘Playing God’ is an ever-so-slightly interactive VR experiment in which you will be making an ethical choice. This is no game as such, more a short experience that lasts about 10 minutes and will make most people think about the choice they make inside of the experience. While I can see this isn’t going to be for everyone it is at least free and looks OK. Sure, the voice acting is a little…amateurish but the setting feels immersive in a “court of justice” style and overall it is well made. While I am happy to just about recommend this it is a good job it’s free as any fee might not have gone down well.
