Review: ‘PLAY’A VR Video Player’ tries to be the most simplistic video player you will ever use, but oddly it fails on this basic part by being overly complex. In fact, there are far better video players out there from bedroom developers. It is missing the most basic of features and lacks many of the more complex features that might have made it worth a look. Sure, it does what it says on the tin (or so to speak) but there is noting stand out here that would make me want to use it over the most basic video players that are already built into the Oculus and Vivie eco-systems. Maybe it was a good program once, but these days it works OK, but is ultimately pointless.
