Review: From the moment you start playing Overload you can see it is made by the same people who developed Descent and that is no bad thing at all. This is one of those games that is a little hard to get into, but once you do you can become fully immersed and throwing your ship around like it was your job. The lighting effects on this game are something worthy of a nod as they really are something special.

But it is the gameplay that this game really shines. Sure, the 6 degrees of movement is terribly nauseating, but you do get used to it if you play enough. This is not just a game for the players, it is a game made with love for the original Descent and that alone should sell this game to you. Well worth the money, well worth a play…just make sure you have your VR legs before you do.
