Review: I find myself very much divided when it comes to my opinion of ‘Orbatron’. On the one hand its a pretty interesting “space shooter” with match 3 elements, only you don’t have to match 3 at all, you just shoot what you can see. You do get more points for hitting the same colour a few times in a row as well as doing double-shots, but in the end, it is just shooting balls and nothing else. You can make it a game about skill, but you don’t have to. Weirdly that is all I really have to moan about this game, It looks good, some of the game modes are fun and the controls are simple to use. I just wish it was more like Zuma than a colourful space shooter. With 93 levels and five gameplay modes, you can’t even moan at the content amount. I think this is worth a look, but do try and get the highest score you can rather than simply shooting them all out and moving on because that way you will soon get very bored.
