Review: Oodlescape – The Apocalypse is a puzzle escape room played in a Minecraft graphical style. While I don’t mind the basic graphics it is the gameplay that lets this game down. I do like what the developers were going for here, but the randomness of the puzzles means there is no help, no way of knowing how to solve many of them! The puzzles seem to lack structure and reason and are often common in a puzzle room game and while some won’t think this randomness is a bad thing I know I did. There is just no way I could pay £4.99 for this, but grab it for a quid or less and you might enjoy it. All I can tell you is that I didn’t.
