Review: This standing VR showcase app is one of those apps that is perfect for showing anyone new to the world of VR. In fact, it is the app we always use whenever anyone comes into the office and wants to try a headset out. Featuring ten of the very best VR experience demos, they are designed to amazing and ignite anyone’s interest in VR and it does it very well.
Designed as a standing only demo it features an underwater submarine, an awesome and very realistic T-Rex, an animal filled low polygon world, a sci-fi inspired / Steampunk cityscape, an amazing mirror demo where it constantly changed your own face (this one can really freak people out!), an alien from Farlands, what I can only describe as a VR germ or microorganism, a miniature living world (this one is simply amazing as you zoom in and out, looking trough the little windows), 2 assembly robots fighting over a rubber duck (its more amazing than it sounds and it sounds amazing), and last but not least a scene with a giant T-rex running towards you in what feels like a museum (this often gets people’s hearts racing).
