Description: dSky Nirvana 1.0 is a virtual meditation temple enabling you to explore the landscape of your spirit while immersing your eyes and ears in symbols of the divine from ancient wisdom traditions. Meditate on the chakras, the elements, and the yantras of ancient India and Tibetan traditions.
Rant aside, Nirvana is a virtual place filled with various religious, wellbeing and meditative images and objects. From the visage of Buddha to the branches of the tree of enlightenment. Just about everything from the meditation universe. The idea is you pick a spot (by moving around with the controller), get in seated lotus position, spine upright and meditate. Sadly there is no guided meditation here, only some relaxing trance music, but having that special spot that you enjoy the sights and sounds in is halfway of a meditative state anyway.
If you think there isn’t enough to do in this app, you are not using it the way it was intended. It’s just offering you a meditation home, while at your real home of in the office. VR isn’t all about games and crazy experiences, sometimes it is about the power of a ‘Virtual Space’. The basic goal with this app is to feel grounded and understand yourself a little better and maybe the things that are going on in your mind at the time will be a little clearer. Sadly for this app, there is so much better out there for far, far cheaper.
