Description: Nimbus is a VR music video designed to mesmerize and excite. It’s vivid colours and lively hip hop rolled into one fun trip. If you’re a fan of light shows and rainbows, you can’t miss it!
Created by artist Calmfixup, the music and visuals are timed up so that you lose yourself in the rhythm and feel every instrument!
With an almost kaleidoscope style experience, you soon start to feel the beat of the music and will feel your body starting to move. There is little else to do in this app other than listening to the music and letting the best and colourful, symmetrical visuals take you away from it all for a short time.
I want to start off with a warning to people. At the start of this trippy experience, it tells you that it is best experienced standing up. DO NOT STAND UP! There is a lot of rotating movement in this app and it will make you feel giddy even sat down. To view this experience stood up you would need the balance of a zen master. Bad viewing suggestions put aside, this is a short, but OK experience. While basic in terms of looks the visuals do indeed help you to feel every beat of the music. If you enjoy VR music videos as much as I do, give it a try!
