Review: Nighttime Terror VR: Dessert Defender is a tower defence game of sorts, but you are mostly taking care of the enemies yourself because you are a powerful wizard. There are times when it is indeed fun (especially when the frenzy mode is active), but there are far too many times when it is just frustrating to play and doesn’t really work. But for the price, you have to give it some leeway. I like most strategy games in VR and the artwork in this game is worthy of a nod. I just feel this game will not be for everyone as it does take a little bit of time to get used to the controls, but by that time the game is over anyway.
