Review: ‘NeonHAT’ is a shooter and racer in which you are given a jetpack and weapons as you zip around sound pretty cool looking tracks (in a retro kind of way). Sadly most of the early races are pretty easy and it is not until you get to the faster speed races that you really start to struggle and sadly at that point you also have to use the controls and drifts more which can be difficult to master. But I did knuckle down and start to really get into this game with the boss fights being my favourite thing.
While I did enjoy what there is given the lack of any sort of multiplayer mode, there simply isn’t enough content here to justify the £14.99 price tag. Sure, it is a fun game if you are willing to give yourself time to get used to the controls (especially in the harder difficulties) but I get the feeling most people will be left feeling frustrated and short-changed, even if there is still plenty to love here.
