Review: I have to be honest, I am a little disappointed with ‘Myst’. Maybe it was my own rose-tinted glasses of the original game, but this game just doesn’t seem as polished nor as immersive as that original game was. Don’t get me wrong, it is still a pretty great game, but with its poor quality CGI graphics and even CGI characters, it just doesn’t have that realistic feel the original game did. The good news is the difficult puzzles and exploration is on point and it will take you a VERY long time to finish this game even if like myself you remember the original game’s puzzles and codes. Myst was never a pickup and play style game, it is an investment in time and effort that many will find frustrating. Personally, I did really enjoy it, but it was nowhere near as good as I wanted it to be, especially in terms of looks.
