Description: Musical Range is more than just a rhythm game, it’s a VR Musical Experience where you can play and feel the music with an immersive instrument. Shoot, bend, and distort notes to create the best sound. Grow your creativity and explore new musical ideas as you play your favorite songs.
Review: ‘Musical Range’ is a shooting range style rhythm game in which you are shooting targets, locking onto them for longer notes and even shooting other targets to make the song sound differently. It’s like a weird combination of music maker and rhythm gameplay (but mostly it is the latter of those two things). While simple in style I really enjoyed the graphics with a large sound stage environment, it felt pretty immersive and with most of the beat-mapping on point, it was also fun to play.
While this game doesn’t have a whole heap of content it is at least fun and you can easily get your money’s worth here by trying all the songs on different difficulty levels. I also like that you can “mix it up” a little and throw in your own beats once you know what you are doing. Sure, it takes a while to get the hang of the game, but once you do you can really get into it. I would definitely try and grab this in a sale rather than full price, because the lower the price, the more you will enjoy it.
