Review: I put my hand on my heart and admit that I am a real sucker for Music and Rhythm games in VR. Maybe it is the immersiveness of the two things combined that really draws me towards them. And for years not I have wanted a really good VR drum game and along comes ‘Music Inside: A VR Rhythm Game’ to once again destroy my hopes of ever playing a good one. Once again the music and the beats are out of sync and once again the hit of the “drums” feels like you are hitting nothing and there is no point hitting them in the first place!
I like the fact that you can play this game with your own music, but just imagine how bad it is when the music that comes with the game is not in sync anyway! There is just no way I can justify the £7.19 asking price even if it was in a half-price sale. This is one music game best avoided, but the good news is there are plenty of great ones like Beat Saber out there and waiting for your money and time.
