Description: Voxels and Vector Graphics combine in a VR Arcade Shoot Em Up where you must always be on your toes and aim true. Presently in Early Access, Muerte’s Arena places you in an underground crypt for the dammed where spooky enemies seek to destroy what remains of you. You will be armed with a realistically functioning M1911 and a flashlight for the darkness. At the centre lies the control that will allow you to test your limits. Put your aim and reloading skills to the test after haughtily thinking the default settings are all there is.
Review: It’s hard not to be too harsh on ‘Muerte’s Arena’ because at the end of the day this is clearly made by a bedroom developer and it is at least free to play. As with any free game you need to ask if the game is worth downloading and playing in the first place…and the answer to that is probably yes. It’s a fun little shooter that is as basic as they come. While it isn’t going to blow anyone away it will make a few of us smile(myself included) and that makes it worth a look. Just remember it is free and the effort of someone who simply loves VR gaming.
