Review: ‘Monster Showdown’ is a monster killing arena game in which you go from level to level (with no storyline or reason) killing a small range of different monsters. The game sure looks good and the sound effects feel pretty much on point. While the grind mechanics here do get a little tiresome there are enough upgrades and unlockables to hold most peoples interest for a good while. I just don’t think there is quite enough content to justify the £11.99 price tag, but if you can grab it for half that price or less I would recommend giving it a go. It’s a good game and it can be lots of fun, but I can easily see many people giving up on the grind well before unlocking everything.
