Review: Sure, ‘Monolith’ is little more than yet another static wave shooter that we have seen a hundred times before, but it does have a touch of style and polish to it at least. The graphics are pretty good to be fair and I especially liked the boss fights as they mixed things up a bit. But it is just a wave shooter and it does indeed get boring after a while, especially when you have played as many of them as I have. However, I do feel this game is worth the money. I paid £3.99 for this and felt I got my money’s worth after just a few hours worth of gameplay.
