Review: What can you get for £0.79 these days? A small bottle of pop? A chocolate bar? Or you could have this great looking tower defence game that might not be the most exciting game you will ever play in VR, but it does look amazing. It’s a pretty simple game in which you grab crystals in the air that randomly spawn and the spend those crystals build up your defences by buying or upgrading you little people who are all animated extremely well. You might be thinking this game is a smashing bargain! But…
Sadly there are only 20 levels to play here and it all takes place on one map. Also, there is a lot of staring at nothing as you wait for the crystals to appear which does lower the pace of the game and makes it way more boring than it needed to be. While it lacks some gameplay it makes up for it in graphical polish so for just £0.79 this is something I can easily recommend, especially if you love your tower defence games.
