Description: Are you ready to play an adorable tower defence game? Miniature TD provides unconventional experience for you. Build towers to defend your base from cute monsters. Use the Oculus Touch to grab a tower and place it on the floating map. Don’t passively watch the towers – pick a weapon and join the battle yourself. Use a flamethrower to fire explosives at the monsters, or use a hand cannon to bombard the enemy wave. Use the magnifying glass to inspect the battleground.
Review: With only two game modes (Classic and Endless) and no multiplayer mode, this game might be a short lived experience, but while you are playing it can be oddly enjoyable for a tower defence game. Being able to pick up the little guns and shot the enemy waves down really did make me smile as did the retro/Minecraft style graphics. This game isn’t the best use of VR by any stretch of the imagination, but the level layers do look deep giving off the illusion of a Lego style playset laid out in front of you. If you love your tower defence games and don’t mind supporting a new developer, you can do far worse than download Miniature TD. But I would suggest you wait for a sale before giving it a go as you really don’t get a lot for your money here.
