Description: Medusa’s Labyrinth is a short mythological first-person horror game set in ancient Greece. It takes myths and legends that have stayed with us for over 2000 years and mix them together. Now in VR for the first time! Pick your path through the abandoned hallways, through winding catacombs and dark chamber to solve the mysteries that lurk within.
Review: Sadly not a lot happens in Medusa’s Labyrinth VR, but yet it keeps ticking over thanks to little bits of the storyline provided you are willing to take the time to read them. Yes, you get a bow and arrow, but seemingly for no other reason than shooting a bridge down. Visual wise the graphics look OK and there is a constant creepy atmosphere that does make it feel quite immersive. But the controls are where the real problems lay. The point, grip motion doesn’t feel natural and because the guideline doesn’t go that far you end up pointing blindly at things until you get it in the sweet spot. For the money, I reckon its a good download. Just don’t expect much more than a story and some nice graphics. With that in mind waiting for a sale might not be such a bad thing.
